Hello, I’m the Prague Guide!
Hello there! I’m Anna Holanová and I’m the Prague guide. I do walking tours in Czech and English language, I speak also French and Greek (although not well enough to give tours, yet).
I was born in Prague and have been living here for most of my life. During highschool, I fell in love with history and desired to show to the others how amazing and learning history can be.
My academic background in Czech history and Heritage studies gives me better understanding of heritage care values and how important tourism is for mutual understanding between people. Before becoming a guide, I used to work at the National museum.
These experiences make me being a passionate guide with a unique insight. My other passion is hiking. I can plan a trip for you to see some exceptional places outside the city. Czech nature is beautiful!
My values
I believe in ethical and sustainable tourism, which is beneficial for the visitors as well as the local people. I will do the best to make your experience from Prague smooth and enjoyable. It will be only you and me, no large group with audioguides. I will take you for a coffee to a small business and to places most other people don’t know about, I will help you not to fall for a tourist trap.
On the other hand, I will expect you to be considerate to the locals and not to disturb their life, especially in less busy areas.
